WHAT? ENCOURAGING DIY LASH REMOVAL? WE’RE JUST ADAPTING TO THE TIMES.
Unprecedented times call for unprecedented measures. Alright, let's get started.
We decided to launch House of Glam DIY Removal Kit because of Covid-19 and lockdown restrictions. Many people avail of our eyelash extension services where professionally trained lash artists apply synthetic eyelash extensions to the natural lashes using a medical grade adhesive, very similar to a super glue. Just try to imagine the strength of this liquid and the functional ingredients used to develop it. Lash extension adhesive is powerful, and it cannot be removed safely using oil products.
BUT WHY DO LASH ARTISTS TELL YOU NOT TO USE OIL BASED PRODUCTS?
It’s because they want to increase the longevity of your synthetic lashes. Rubbing oil on them in large concentration or day after day will only contribute to the loss of synthetic lashes. This does not mean that you should go crazy during covid-19 lockdowns and saturate those lashes with every oil you can find. It isn’t going to work.
What options do you have?
1. Try to remove them with household oil and at home remedies which will only cause irritation and premature eyelash loss. Why is this so bad? If you accidentally pull your natural lashes off using oil it’s going to hurt and there is a chance it won’t grow back and you will end up with gaps. This also applies to picking at the lashes which can also cause eye infections and complications.
2. Cut your synthetic lashes to help prevent synthetic lashes from growing out too far, weighing down the natural lashes and causing them to break off. Yikes. I know. But it is an option, especially for someone with really sensitive eyes.
3. Purchase our DIY removal kit, follow our online instructions and watch this video before trying to remove them. The remover is strong and can cause adverse effects if not used properly. Please reach out if you have any questions.
